Job Summary
Complete merchandising resets and service-related projects according to specifications, verifying buyback items for shipping and updating wayfinding signage and digital records. Create safe, clean product displays that showcase in-demand items while ensuring pricing information is accurate and clearly visible. Assist customers by answering questions about products and warranties, and help drive add-on sales through proper staging of clearance products. Repair or replace damaged merchandise, signage, and displays, and communicate project priorities and needs with the Merchandising Services Team. Analyze metrics to provide feedback on project execution to store and corporate leaders.
Required Qualifications
- Read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
- Ability to hear, listen, and to communicate verbally with others
- Utilize web-based computer programs to accomplish assigned tasks
- Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time
- Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without accommodation
- Ability to work in both inside and outside weather conditions
- Exposure to varying climates, including extreme heat or cold, wet, damp, humid, windy, or drafty conditions
- Exposure to constant or intermittent noises in addition to moving or shaking objects and equipment
- Follow guidelines, limiting single lifts to 75 pounds
- Use proper training or assistance from a trained coworker for powered equipment
Desired Qualifications
- Lowe's sales floor experience
- Experience performing product merchandising tasks, including reading planograms and setting up and tearing down displays
- Experience operating power equipment such as lifts, order pickers, and similar equipment
- Working knowledge of essential tools (e.g., hand tools, drills, saws, etc.)
- Bilingual
- Military
- Veteran
