Job Summary
Oversee receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock to ensure efficient placement on the sales floor. Manage display setup and maintenance for specific store sections, including signage accuracy and seasonal updates per corporate guidelines. Direct the full opening and closing process, securing cash, locking doors, and setting alarms for smooth daily operations. Act as Manager on Duty when needed, taking full responsibility for store operations, staff management, customer service, and urgent issue resolution. Support onboarding and training for associates while driving sales through optimized merchandising and staff performance. Execute market plans by arranging products and promotional materials according to corporate standards and maintain inventory integrity. Frequently operate cash registers, move merchandise up to 25 lbs, and work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate
- Minimum 2 years of management experience
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, which will require day, evening, weekends and may include overnight shifts and travel (as required)
- Must be at least 18 years old and able to perform all essential job functions in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure
- Ability to identify and discern email and print instructions regarding merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and standard operating procedures
- Ability to remain in a stationary, upright position for 80% of the time
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs
- Must be able to reach heights of 5-10 feet
- Must be able to ascend/descend ladders
- Must be able to kneel, bend, twist, and stoop
