Job Summary
Lead a team of category merchandisers to grow revenue and margin across product categories; assist in developing and executing category strategies, manage vendor relationships and negotiations, optimize product mix and pricing, coordinate logistics and marketing efforts, and deliver analytics and reporting to drive decision-making. Responsibilities include developing SOPs and training materials, forecasting category performance, collaborating cross-functionally with sales, logistics, IT, and accounting, and ensuring effective communication with internal and external stakeholders to improve profitability.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in business
- 3 years of experience in online merchandising
- Leadership qualities and ability to coach and supervise
- Exceptional organization and attention to detail
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Negotiation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook; project management software
- Ability to communicate clearly in English; ability to write and follow detailed procedures; ability to work under pressure; ability to work independently and in a team; ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
