Merchandising Assistant Manager

Merchandising Assistant Manager at Dollar Tree supports the Store Manager in leading a team to execute merchandising and freight-processing duties. Responsibilities include assisting with all store functions, opening/closing procedures, safeguarding assets, maintaining store areas, adhering to policies and safety guidelines, processing corporate directives, keeping the stockroom and sales floor neat, ensuring a positive and safe customer and team environment, and assisting with freight flow, merchandise ordering, and stocking (including frozen & refrigerated items). The role also involves planning, merchandising, and maintaining clip strips and power panels with sales-efficient items, and helping implement monthly Sales Planners. Requires strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs in a high-energy, team-oriented retail setting.
