Job Summary
Merchandising Assistant Manager at Dollar Tree leads and supports a dynamic team in merchandising, freight processing, stockroom and sales-floor upkeep, and daily store operations. Responsibilities include assisting with all store functions, opening/closing procedures, protecting assets, complying with safety and policies, maintaining store areas to company standards, processing directives related to store activities, ensuring a clean and presentable environment, delivering a positive, safe, and respectful experience for customers and colleagues, and assisting the Store Manager with freight flow, stock needs (including frozen and refrigerated items), and monthly sales planning. Skills include prior retail and management experience, strong communication and interpersonal abilities, and the physical ability to lift 30-50 lbs and perform a range of movement in a high-energy team environment.
