Job Summary
Lead store operations and merchandising by assisting the Store Manager with daily functions, opening/closing procedures, and asset security. Process freight, manage DSD merchandise receipt and return, and order stock for frozen and refrigerated sections. Maintain sales-effectiveness by planning Clip Strips, Power Panels, and monthly Sales Planners while ensuring store cleanliness and safety standards. Adhere to corporate directives and safety guidelines to protect company assets and foster a positive environment for customers and associates.
Required Qualifications
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills
- Prior retail and management experience
- Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
Desired Qualifications
- Prior retail and management experience is preferred
