Merchandising Assistant Manager

Job Summary
Lead a team of associates and manage store operations by performing opening and closing procedures, securing cash, and maintaining sales floor and stockroom standards. Process corporate directives including Pull, Hold/Destroy, and Task Compliance requests while overseeing freight flow, merchandise ordering, and Clip Strip planning. Ensure the store remains clean and presentable through daily restocking, floor maintenance, and bathroom cleaning. Support the Store Manager with monthly Sales Planner implementation and sales-effective merchandising strategies. Maintain a safe, respectful environment with strong customer and associate interactions. Full-time position in Pelham, Alabama.
Required Qualifications
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills
- Prior retail and management experience
- Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
Desired Qualifications
- Prior retail and management experience is preferred
