Merchandising Assistant Manager

Assist the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team of associates focused on merchandising and processing freight. Role includes assisting with all store functions, opening/closing procedures, protecting assets (including cash), adhering to policies and safety guidelines, maintaining stockroom and sales floor to company standards, processing directives (Pull and Hold/Destroy, Task Compliance, Key Survey requests), maintaining store cleanliness and presentability, ensuring a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and colleagues, and performing other duties as assigned. Additional duties include processing receipt/return of DSD merchandise, managing freight flow, stocking merchandise (including frozen & refrigerated items), ensuring sales-floor effectiveness, planning and maintaining Clip Strips and Power Panels with sale-ready items, and assisting with monthly Sales Planners. Required skills include strong communication, interpersonal and written abilities, the ability to work in a high-energy, team environment, and the physical capacity to lift 30-50 lbs. Retail/management experience is preferred.
