Job Summary
Merchandising Assistant Manager at Dollar Tree responsible for merchandising and processing freight, assisting the Store Manager with daily store operations, supervising associates, and maintaining a clean, safe, and presentable store environment. Duties include opening/closing procedures, asset protection, adhering to policies and safety guidelines, stocking and restocking stockroom and sales floor, processing directives, managing freight flow, stocking merchandise (including frozen & refrigerated items) per productivity standards, planning and maintaining clip strips and Power Panels with sales-effective items, and assisting with monthly Sales Planners. Requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to lift 30-50 lbs, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-focused retail setting.
Required Qualifications
- Prior retail and management experience preferred
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required
- Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
