Merchandising Assistant Manager

Job Summary
Lead store operations and manage a team of associates by performing opening and closing procedures, securing company assets, and maintaining store cleanliness. Process all corporate directives, manage freight flow, order stock, and plan monthly sales planners to ensure the sales floor is sales-effective. Assist the Store Manager with merchandise processing, receipt and return of DSD items, and maintaining Clip Strips and Power Panels. Adhere to safety guidelines and policies while fostering a positive environment for customers and staff. Full-time role in South Portland, Maine, with a salary range of $18.50 to $19.25 hourly.
Required Qualifications
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills
- Prior retail and management experience
- Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
Desired Qualifications
- Prior retail and management experience is preferred
