Job Summary
Merchandising Assistant Manager at Dollar Tree responsible for merchandising, processing freight, assisting Store Manager, and maintaining store standards. Duties include opening/closing procedures, asset protection, policy and safety adherence, stocking and cleaning, handling stockroom and sales floor upkeep, implementing directives and communications, ensuring a safe and professional environment, processing DSD merchandise, managing freight flow, stocking merchandise (including frozen & refrigerated), ensuring a sales-effective floor with Clip Strips and Power Panels, and contributing to monthly Sales Planners. Requires prior retail and management experience, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to lift 30-50 lbs; high-energy, team-oriented environment preferred.
