Job Summary
Merchandising Assistant Manager at Dollar Tree responsible for merchandising and processing freight, assisting the Store Manager, leading associates, maintaining store standards, and ensuring a safe, positive environment. Duties include opening/closing procedures, protecting assets, stockroom and sales floor upkeep, implementing directives, maintaining cleanliness, handling freight flow, stocking shelves (including frozen & refrigerated items), planning and maintaining clip strips and power panels, and executing monthly Sales Planners. Requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to lift 30-50 lbs, and ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
