Merchandising Assistant Manager

Assist Store Manager with merchandising and processing freight; perform opening and closing procedures; protect assets including store cash; maintain store areas to company standards; execute corporate directives and communications; ensure cleanliness and safety; maintain a positive, professional environment with customers and team; assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, manage freight flow per productivity standards, stock merchandise including frozen & refrigerated items, and maintain sales effectiveness on the floor; plan, merchandise, and maintain clip strips and power panels with sales-efficient items; develop and implement monthly Sales Planners; requires strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs., stand/walk frequently, and work in a high-energy, team environment.
