Merchandising Assistant Manager

Merchandising Assistant Manager at Dollar Tree responsible for merchandising and processing freight, assisting the Store Manager with a dynamic team, and creating positive experiences for the community. Duties include opening/closing procedures, protecting assets, maintaining store areas (stockroom and sales floor) to company standards, executing corporate directives, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a safe, respectful environment for customers, associates, and leaders. Additional duties include processing receipt/return of DSD merchandise, managing freight flow, stocking merchandise (including frozen & refrigerated items), ensuring a sales-effective sales floor, and planning/implementing monthly Sales Planners. Requires strong communication skills, ability to lift 30-50 lbs, and ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
