Job Summary
Merchandising Assistant Manager at Dollar Tree leading a team alongside the Store Manager to execute merchandising, freight processing, and store operations. Responsibilities include opening/closing procedures, protecting assets, adhering to policies and safety guidelines, maintaining clean and presentable stockrooms and sales floors, executing corporate directives (Pull and Hold/Destroy, Task Compliance, Key Survey information), ensuring customer-facing areas are organized and welcoming, and assisting with freight flow, stock needs (including frozen & refrigerated items), and monthly Sales Planners. Requires leadership experience in retail, strong communication, the ability to lift 30-50 lbs, and the ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
Required Qualifications
- Prior retail and management experience preferred
