Job Summary
Merchandising Assistant Manager at Dollar Tree assists the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team of associates, focusing on merchandising and freight processing. Responsibilities include assisting with all store functions, opening/closing procedures, protecting assets, maintaining store areas to company standards, processing directives related to store activities, ensuring cleanliness and presentation, maintaining a positive and respectful environment with customers and staff, and supporting the Store Manager with duties such as processing receipt/return of DSD merchandise, managing freight flow, stocking merchandise (including frozen and refrigerated items), ensuring a sales-effective floor, and planning/maintaining Clip Strips, Power Panels, and monthly Sales Planners. Skills emphasized include strong communication, interpersonal and written abilities, retail/management experience, and physical ability to lift 30-50 lbs in a high-energy team setting.
Required Qualifications
