Job Summary
Merchandising Assistant Manager at Dollar Tree responsible for assisting the Store Manager in leading a team, merchandising and processing freight, maintaining store standards, safety, cleanliness, and customer service. Key duties include opening/closing procedures, asset protection, adhering to policies, stockroom and sales floor upkeep, executing corporate directives (Pull and Hold/Destroy, Task Compliance, Key Survey requests), managing freight flow, stocking merchandise (including frozen & refrigerated), planning and maintaining clip strips and power panels with sales-efficient items, and assisting with monthly Sales Planners. Requires retail/management experience (preferred), strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to lift 30-50 lbs, and ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
Required Qualifications
