Job Summary
Merchandising Assistant Manager at Dollar Tree supports the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team and focuses on merchandising and processing freight. Responsibilities include assisting with all store functions, opening/closing procedures, protecting assets, adhering to policies and safety guidelines, maintaining the stockroom and sales floor to company standards, processing directives, keeping areas neat and presentable, ensuring a positive and professional environment, and assisting with additional duties as assigned. Additional duties include processing receipt/return of DSD merchandise, managing freight flow, stocking merchandise (including frozen & refrigerated items), ensuring the sales floor is sales-effective, and planning/implementing monthly Sales Planners. Requires strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs; high-energy, team-oriented work environment experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Prior retail and management experience is preferred
