Merchandising Assistant Manager

Job Summary
Conduct all store functions, including opening and closing procedures, while protecting company assets and adhering to safety policies. Process corporate directives such as Pull and Hold/Destroy requests, maintain cleanliness throughout the store, and ensure a positive environment for customers and associates. Assist the Store Manager by managing DSD merchandise receipt and return, processing freight flow, ordering stock, and planning monthly Sales Planners. Plan and maintain Clip Strips and Power Panels to ensure the sales floor remains effective. Full-time position located in Sugarland, Texas, with physical requirements including lifting up to 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills
- Prior retail and management experience
- Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
Desired Qualifications
- Prior retail and management experience is preferred
