Job Summary
Merchandising Assistant Manager at Dollar Tree collaborates with the Store Manager to lead a dynamic team in merchandising and processing freight. Responsibilities include assisting with all store functions, opening/closing procedures, asset protection, enforcing policies and safety guidelines, maintaining stockroom and sales floor standards, processing directives (Pull and Hold/Destroy, Task Compliance, Key Survey information), keeping the store clean and presentable, ensuring a positive and respectful environment for customers and team members, and supporting freight flow and monthly sales planning. Requires ability to lift 30-50 lbs and work in a high-energy retail setting with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding duties as part of daily work.
- Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
