Job Summary
Merchandising Assistant Manager at Dollar Tree, supporting the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team to deliver merchandising and freight processing excellence. Responsibilities include assisting with all store functions, opening/closing procedures, maintaining store cleanliness, safeguarding assets, executing directives, stocking and organizing stockroom and sales floor to company standards, and ensuring a positive, safe, and customer-friendly environment. The role also covers freight flow management, stock replenishment, planogram maintenance (clip strips and power panels), and monthly sales planning, with required emphasis on strong communication, interpersonal and written skills, and the ability to lift 30-50 lbs in a high-energy team setting.
Required Qualifications
- Prior retail and management experience is preferred
