Job Summary
Lead store operations and merchandising by assisting the Store Manager with opening/closing procedures, asset security, and maintaining sales floor and stockroom standards. Process corporate directives including Pull, Hold/Destroy, and Task Compliance requests while managing DSD merchandise receipt and return. Order and stock frozen and refrigerated merchandise, plan Clip Strips and Power Panels, and implement monthly Sales Planners to ensure sales effectiveness. Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms and general areas, while fostering a positive environment for customers and associates. Full-time role in Amherst, NY; salary $19.50–$20.25/hour.
Required Qualifications
- Prior retail and management experience
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills
- Ability to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height
- Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
