Job Summary
Lead store functions and assist the Store Manager with merchandising and freight processing. Perform opening and closing procedures, secure company assets, and maintain store cleanliness including stockrooms, sales floors, and restocking bathrooms. Process corporate directives such as Pull and Hold/Destroy requests and manage the receipt and return of DSD merchandise. Order and stock frozen and refrigerated goods, plan Clip Strips and Power Panels, and implement monthly Sales Planners to ensure the sales floor remains effective. Maintain a safe, respectful environment while adhering to all safety guidelines and policies.
Required Qualifications
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills
- Prior retail and management experience
- Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
Desired Qualifications
- Prior retail and management experience is preferred
