Job Summary
Assist Store Manager in leading a dynamic retail team to execute merchandising, freight processing, and store operations. Responsibilities include assisting with all store functions, opening and closing procedures, protecting company assets (including cash), adhering to policies and safety guidelines, maintaining stockroom and sales floor to company standards, processing corporate directives (Pull and Hold/Destroy, Task Compliance, Key Survey requests), ensuring store cleanliness and presentation, maintaining a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and associates, and performing other assigned duties. Additional duties include processing receipt/return of DSD merchandise, managing freight flow to productivity standards, stocking merchandise (including frozen and refrigerated items), ensuring the sales floor is sales-effective, and planning/maintaining Clip Strips and Power Panels with sales-appropriate items. Requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to lift 30-50 lbs., and capability to work in a high-energy, team-focused environment.
