Job Summary
Merchandising Assistant at 99 Ranch Market seeks a motivated, detail-oriented candidate to support the merchandising department in a large Asian grocery retail operation. Responsibilities include responding to vendor inquiries, revising and processing purchase orders, following up on backorders and claims, coordinating with cross-functional teams to resolve merchandising issues, updating product information, pricing, and promotions across platforms, and performing general administrative tasks to support day-to-day operations.
Required Qualifications
- An Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
- Strong attention to detail skills with a keen eye for visual presentation and product placement
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
Desired Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin is preferred
- Familiarity with Seafood products, cultural preferences, and market trends is a plus
