Job Summary
Lead a team of associates to deliver quality customer service while maintaining a clean, safe, and well-stocked Lowe’s store. Responsibilities include anticipating customer flow and work demand, scheduling to ensure proper coverage, planning for sales spikes and in-stock position, conducting safety walks and coaching on safe practices, and driving sales and margin goals while maximizing overall customer satisfaction with the in-store experience. May rotate through Specialty and Operations assignments for cross-training and development. Collaborates with peers on the store leadership team and with District Manager and Area support staff to optimize service, sales, and operations. Occasional travel to meetings, trainings, or to support neighboring stores. Describes essential leadership over store operations, including managing daily store operations, staff scheduling, and ensuring regulatory/licensure requirements where applicable. Proficiency with retail systems and MS Office is preferred, with a broader knowledge of home improvement product categories and store computer systems.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of experience leading associates in a retail environment
- 3 years of experience working in a fast-paced, cross-functional work environment
- 1 year of experience performing manager-on-duty responsibilities, including management of daily store operations and processes within and beyond assigned areas of responsibility
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law
