Job Summary
Lead a team of associates in a Lowe’s store to deliver exceptional in-store service while maintaining a clean, safe, and well-stocked environment. Responsible for anticipating customer flow and work demand, planning for sales spikes, ensuring in-stock positions, conducting safety walks, coaching on safe practices, and driving sales and margin goals through efficient store operations. May rotate through Specialty and Operations assignments for cross-training and development; limited travel to meetings or trainings may be required. Requires 2 years of experience leading associates in retail, 3 years in a fast-paced cross-functional environment, and 1 year in manager-on-duty responsibilities, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to obtain sales licensure if required by law. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and additional experience in home improvement retail, product knowledge across interior/exterior categories, and familiarity with store computer systems.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of experience leading associates in a retail environment
- 3 years of experience working in a fast-paced, cross-functional work environment
- 1 year of experience performing manager-on-duty responsibilities, including management of daily store operations and processes within and beyond assigned areas of responsibility
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law
