Job Summary
Leading and coordinating store operations as the Merchandising Assistant Store Manager at Lowe’s. You’ll anticipate customer flow and work demand, plan for sales spikes, ensure proper in-stock positions, conduct safety walks, coach associates on safe practices, and drive sales and margin goals while delivering an exceptional in-store experience. You may rotate through Specialty and Operations assignments for cross-training and development, collaborate with store leadership, District Manager, and Area support staff, and support daily store operations with a focus on service, sales, and operational objectives. This role generally schedules around 48 hours with potential additional hours, requires morning/afternoon/evening availability any day, and may involve lifting up to 25 pounds or more. Ability to obtain any required sales licensure and demonstrated experience in retail leadership and store operations. Required Qualifications
- 2 years of experience leading associates in a retail environment
- 3 years of experience working in a fast-paced, cross-functional work environment
- 1 year of experience performing manager-on-duty responsibilities, including management of daily store operations and processes within and beyond assigned areas of responsibility
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law
