Job Summary

Lead and develop store operations as a Merchandising Assistant Store Manager at Lowe’s. Responsible for anticipating customer flow, planning for sales spikes, ensuring in-stock positions, and coaching associates on safe practices. Leads a team to deliver exceptional service in a clean, safe, well-stocked store while achieving sales and margin goals and driving operational efficiencies. May rotate through Specialty and Operations for cross-training. Supports store leadership collaboration with the District Manager and Area support staff to meet service, sales, and operational objectives. May travel occasionally for meetings, trainings, or to support neighboring stores. Requires availability mornings, afternoons, and evenings; able to lift 25 pounds and perform tasks that involve standing and other physical activities. Salary is generally based on 48 hours with potential for additional hours based on business needs.

Required Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience leading associates in a retail environment
  • 3 years of experience working in a fast-paced, cross-functional work environment
  • 1 year of experience performing manager-on-duty responsibilities
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law
  • Bachelor's degree in related field (preferred)
  • 5 years of experience leading service associates in a retail or consumer service industry (preferred)
  • 3 years of experience performing manager-on-duty responsibilities (preferred)
