Job Summary
Develop and analyze Dealer Tire's product strategy to adapt to changes in OEM needs, company strategy, and tire manufacturer commitments. Lead discussions with pricing analysts and inventory specialists to seek consensus on product screen enhancements and implement selling strategies for new product launches. Maintain and enhance a classification system for product issues, update product features databases, and ensure program websites reflect the latest descriptions. Design and build queries in Oracle BI, Alteryx, or Power BI to extract, model, and present actionable insights from sales data. Develop hypotheses for testing, monitor tire life cycles, and manage the OEM vehicle and fitment database to support accurate tire sizing and set up. Lead a team of cross-functional associates to execute key merchandising initiatives and drive decision-making on emerging technologies like electrified vehicles.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in an analyst role
- Retail/wholesale tire merchandising experience
- Extensive knowledge of tires, tire fitments, vehicles, and accessories for the North American market
- Comfortable writing queries (Oracle BI and/or Alteryx) and working with large data sets in order to answer business questions
- Strong MS Excel skills
- Continuous viewing from and inputting data to a computer screen
- Sitting for long periods of time
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening
