Job Summary
Visit allocated retail stores according to a planned schedule, merchandising and maintaining Haars potted plant displays to ensure they are fully stocked and presented to a high standard. Rotate stock, place orders, and monitor inventory levels while identifying opportunities to improve sales and product presentation. Build positive relationships with store managers and greenlife team members, then complete reporting, timesheets, and administrative tasks accurately. Participate in team meetings and toolbox talks while following all workplace health and safety procedures. This role requires availability on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays for up to eight hours per day and a valid driver's license with a reliable car.
Required Qualifications
- Must be available: Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday
- Up to 8 hours per day
- Friendly, reliable and self-motivated
- Organised with excellent time management skills
- Able to work independently while also being part of a supportive team
- Confident communicating with customers and colleagues
- Passionate about providing excellent customer service
- Must have your own, reliable car and valid licence
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
- Good computer and mobile device literacy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in merchandising, retail, customer service or sales
- Interested in plants, horticulture or retail merchandising
- experience is highly regarded and preferred but not essential
