Job Summary
This Merchandiser role focuses on developing market-driven products and maintaining product data throughout the lifecycle from setup to deletion. Responsibilities include managing product calendars, coordinating cost and development data, keeping all relevant data in tracking systems, communicating product-level information to internal stakeholders, analyzing line performance and trends, and preparing presentation materials for customer and internal meetings. The role also requires executing assigned projects with timely delivery and collaborating with design concepts, color schemes, and visual displays. A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience in apparel manufacturing or merchandising) and 1-2 years of related experience, along with strong computer, communication, and organizational skills, are required. Knowledge of garment construction, fabric, and garment care is preferred, and familiarity with product lifecycle software is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of related professional experience
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience in apparel manufacturing or merchandising
- Strong computer skills (spreadsheets, word processing)
- Strong communication skills (oral, presentation, written)
- Knowledge of garment construction, fabric and garment care is preferred
- Calendar management skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
