Job Summary
Merchandiser responsible for supporting sales/marketing efforts in assigned retail accounts through inventory management and in-store execution. Duties include assisting customers with inventory, delivery support, stocking shelves, maintaining cold boxes and back room areas, and enhancing shelf/display visibility according to merchandising standards. Collaborates with Sales Representatives and Corporate Mass Marketing to ensure proper product inventories on shelves, counters, cold boxes, and floor displays; maintains brand standards set by suppliers and builds rapport with store managers. Requires the ability to learn brand/product knowledge, communicate effectively, work flexible hours, and lift up to 40 pounds. Massachusetts driver’s license required; role involves travel to customer locations and some weather exposure. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- College degree or equivalent work experience/training/education preferred
- Candidate must possess valid Massachusetts driver’s license and registration
- Physical demands: lifting up to 40 pounds, standing/walking
- Ability to travel and visit customers, prospects or vendors
- Flexibility to work hours as needed
- Self-motivated, team player with strong communication skills
- Knowledge/skills: effective communication, brand/product knowledge, learning ability
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
