Job Summary
Merchandiser at Total Wine & More focuses on maximizing product inventory and supporting online business operations, including processing freight, stocking merchandise, building displays and end caps, placing signage, and fulfilling orders for in-store and curbside pickup and delivery. Duties may include assisting with sales, front-end tasks, and other responsibilities as needed; requires greeting customers, providing product knowledge through training (wine, spirits, beer), adherence to alcohol-related laws and safety standards, and using POS and inventory software. Flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends is required, with physical duties such as lifting and being on feet for long periods. Prior retail experience (1-3 years) and a high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-3 years of experience, 1+ years of experience in a retail setting preferred
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software
- Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends
- Physical requirements: walk, bend, stand 8-10 hours; lift 50 lbs; may be exposed to outdoor conditions
- Must be 21 years of age or older
