Job Summary
Unload, move, and stock live-goods shipments, lifting up to 50 lb and pushing carts weighing ~100 lb. Execute merchandising plans to set up attractive plant displays and promotional ads while maintaining accurate inventory and watering standards. Communicate daily with store leadership on execution and status, providing basic customer service as needed. This seasonal role runs from February through October and requires weekend availability, dependable transportation, and smartphone proficiency for inventory apps. Candidates must pass a drug screening prior to employment.
Required Qualifications
- Enjoy working outdoors, being active, and doing physical work
- Comfortable working independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced, sometimes variable environment
- Reliable, alert, safety-conscious, with good problem-solving skills
- Able to work weekends
- Access to dependable transportation (private or public)
- Comfortable using a smartphone to manage payroll/inventory apps
- Comfortable communicating via text, email, or phone
- Must be able to lift 50 lb
- Must be able to push/pull carts up to ~100 lb
