Job Summary
Deliver, fill, merchandise, and rotate beverage products at retail accounts, ensuring sections, end caps, and displays are stocked for consumer purchase. Transport goods using equipment such as U Boats, hand trucks, and pallet jacks while maintaining back-room stock order and package integrity. Display promotional materials and foster positive relationships with customers and personnel through superior service. Assist with wine events, tastings, and seminars on premises after regular hours. Follow a specified route in a personal vehicle, adhering to all Federal and State regulations governing the sale and distribution of alcoholic beverages in North Carolina.
Required Qualifications
- Monday – Friday schedule
- Flexibility with start time
- High travel amount
- Ability to lift and load 20-45 pounds per case repeatedly over an 8-12 hour work period
- Ability to push and pull over 800 pounds
- Ability to bend, reach, and squat while merchandising and moving products
- Ability to exercise safe practices in a work environment
- Ability to follow a specified route in a personal vehicle on a daily basis
- Service accounts during designated times established by management
- Regular, reliable, predictable attendance
- Ability to improve and build customer relationships at the retail level
- Ability to contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Ability to assume accountability for all equipment used to deliver and merchandise an assigned route
- High communication skills
- Ability to communicate respectfully to address store issues to management
- High self-motivation
- Ability to operate under minimal supervision
- Willingness to work until the entire job is done, including in adverse weather conditions, overtime, weekends and holidays as business dictates
- Good math skills
- Capability of calculating margin/mark-up percentages
- Willingness to pass the background check, drug test and physical capabilities test
- Valid and clean NC License
- Insurance
- Ability to adhere to all Federal and State regulations governing the sale and distribution of Alcoholic beverages in North Carolina
