Job Summary
Merchandiser (Part-Time) is responsible for servicing multiple retail stores in the Richmond, VA area, ensuring store and corporate standards are met, replenishing merchandise, and adhering to planograms (POGs) and display guidelines. The role requires frequent travel between accounts (up to 100%), scheduling within designated weekdays, and precise recording of work hours using designated applications. Requires strong communication skills, professional conduct, reliability, and ability to coordinate with store personnel and the Supervisor. Proficiency with Movista and common office applications (Word, internet, email) is expected, along with the ability to manage time and maintain relationships with store staff and supervisors. Must pass background check and drug test; MVR clearance may be required. The position reports to the Supervisor of Merchandising and operates in a retail environment with regular interaction with store personnel and adherence to attendance policies.
Required Qualifications
- General merchandising experience preferred but not required
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to multitask and detail-oriented
- Conduct self in a professional manner
- Adherence to the company’s attendance policy
- Reliable transportation for travel
- Able to use Movista and/or other company-required applications
- Have personal cell phone and mobile device, such as a tablet
- Proficient with Word, the internet, and email applications
- Employment contingent on background check, 4 panel drug test (does not include THC), and MVR clearance
