Job Summary
Collaborate with Digital, Retail, and central Buying teams to optimize inventory management, pricing strategies, and promotional activities for the UK market. Carry out quarterly seasonal buying for UK stores and concession partners, manage stock allocation, and oversee product launches aligned with central guidelines. Monitor weekly performance KPIs including sell-through and inventory turnover, present trade updates in meetings, and conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities. Lead and mentor a high-performing merchandising team, ensuring timely delivery of merchandising packs and fostering a collaborative environment. Drive the integration of online and offline channels to create a seamless customer experience while supporting the Head of Merchandising on budgeting and reforecasting processes.
Required Qualifications
- Previous Buying and Merchandising experience at Merchandiser level
- Extensive knowledge of the UK Retail and Digital landscape
- Ability to work autonomously with an entrepreneurial spirit and creative flair
- A proven track record of driving commercial performance and profitability
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Analytical with an ability to digest and distil data into actionable insights
- Personable and engaging with an ability to develop high functioning relationships with key stakeholders
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Prima and Business Objects desirable but not essential
