Job Summary
Merchandiser responsible for maintaining and enhancing product visibility in retail accounts in McAllen, Harlingen, and the Rio Grande Valley. Duties include stocking shelves and displays, setting up promotions with proper signage and pricing, rotating inventory to ensure freshness, collaborating with sales staff to meet goals, monitoring stock levels, educating store staff about featured products, and ensuring compliance with local and federal alcohol laws. Requires High School Diploma or GED, 1-2 years in retail/sales/merchandising (wine/spirits a plus), strong organizational and communication skills, ability to travel to multiple store locations, and a valid Texas driver’s license. Must be able to pass background and drug screening; 21+ years old; willingness to work early mornings, evenings, weekends or holidays as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous experience in retail, sales, or merchandising (1-2 years preferred)
- Experience in the wine and spirits industry is a plus
- Willingness to travel to multiple store locations as needed
- Possession of a valid Texas driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass background and drug screening
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team
- Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and inventory tracking systems
- Ability to interact across teams in a fast-paced environment
- Driving record within MVR policy guidelines
