Job Summary
Merchandiser role responsible for allocating products to stores, reviewing sell-throughs, and positioning merchandise in appropriate stores in accurate quantities. Responsibilities include analyzing merchandise sell-through, adjusting replenishment models by store, setting up initial allocation models for new merchandise, transferring merchandise between stores to maximize sell-through, reviewing sales and inventory reports to identify trends, and communicating merchandise needs with buyers and retail stores. Must have strong analytical skills, be proficient with Microsoft Office, and be able to work in a largely office-based environment with up to 90% sitting/monitoring tasks; relocation to Nashville, TN is required. Hybrid work arrangement applies.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum one-year store management experience in the Journeys Group store, equivalent retail experience or bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to perform basic math calculations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Sitting/ Viewing/ Keyboard use up to 90% of work time
- Willingness to relocate to Nashville, TN
- Strong communication with buyers and stores regarding merchandise needs
