Job Summary
Thoroughly examine and grade donated goods to determine quality and readiness for sale in stores and online. Process items to meet daily production goals by pivoting across multiple work areas as needed. Identify and resolve operational problems or seek management support, while maintaining a neat, clean, and organized workspace. Adhere to safety and security practices, including reporting hazards and injuries. Complete all required trainings and meetings, and perform other duties as assigned. This part-time role at Goodwill of North Georgia supports our mission to turn donations into vocations for over 16,000 people in the community.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Must have good oral and written communication skills in English as well as interpersonal skills
- Detail oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to demonstrate sound judgement
- Must be 18 years or older to become certified and licensed to operate a forklift
