Job Summary
Stock shelves, rotate outdated products, and face bakery items to maintain a neat appearance in assigned stores. Drive the company vehicle to deliver product to customer locations, loading and unloading racks and trays of bakery goods. Perform frequent bending, stooping, and squatting while handling up to 40 pounds of product regularly. Work full-time between 5 a.m. and 7 p.m. weekdays and weekends. This union position with Teamsters supports Franz Family Bakery's distribution across the Pacific Northwest.
Required Qualifications
- Full-time position
- Available to work between the hours of 5 a.m. and 7 p.m. weekdays weekends
- Solid work history
- 1+ years of experience in a similar merchandising position
- Ability to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, reach and perform frequent to constant handling activities
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment background check
- Ability to successfully pass a drug screen
- Ability to successfully pass a math test
- Ability to successfully pass a physical test
- Ability to successfully pass a physical capacity test
- Clean driving record
- Current driving abstract from the department of licensing
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly
- Ability to maneuver large bulky racks of product
- Highly organized
- Fast-paced
- Ability to effectively communicate with a variety of individuals both inside and outside of the organization
- Proven work history of being reliable, safe and positive
- Must uphold the Franz core values
