Job Summary
Maintain set-up, plan-o-gram execution, and stock, front, face, and rotate products in customer stores. Provide merchandise service to retailers while assisting sales representatives in maintaining relationships with both retailers and the internal sales department. Ensure proper shelf placement with signage and favorable display levels. Cover sales reps' vacations by writing store orders, processing credit damages, and resolving other issues. Travel between locations in Columbus, OH, with occasional overnight stays required. Operate a computer tablet and drive an automobile safely. Lift 50+ pounds and work long hours as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Live in the Columbus, OH area
- Must be able to travel between different locations
- Overnights sometimes needed
- High school graduate or GED
- Minimum of 3 months related experience / and or training
- Mathematical skills of being able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
- Excellent reasoning ability to apply common sense to carry out all instructions
- Able to operate a computer tablet
- Able to drive an automobile safely (proven safety record in auto use)
- Ability to utilize a computer system(s) for emails, faxes, scanners, phones, etc.
- Must be in good physical shape with high stamina and dexterity
- Able to drive long distance in an automobile
- Able to lift 50+ pounds
- Good hand dexterity with both hands
- Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time
- Able to bend and stoop and reach above head easily
- Excellent eye sight with good peripheral vision
- Able to work long hours and overtime when necessary
- Responsible to be educated and knowledgeable in safety work regulations and to work safely at all times
