Job Summary
Merchandiser and cashier duties including greeting customers, directing to appropriate staff, checking out customers, deterring shoplifting, stocking and fronting merchandise per planograms, performing price and display updates, maintaining sale materials, assisting with stock adjustments and cycle counts, and supporting store tasks with management. Qualifications emphasize numeric aptitude, interpersonal and organizational skills, with multilingual (Spanish) ability encouraged. The role supports O'Reilly Auto Parts' visual merchandising and front-end operations.
Required Qualifications
- Greet customers on sales floor
- Assist customers locate merchandise or direct to parts specialist
- Check out customers and process payments
- Deter shoplifting
- Stock merchandise per planograms and displays
- Make display changes and price changes
- Manage sale signs and sale materials
- Assist with stock adjustments and cycle counts
- Work with manager on store To Do List and Team Weekly tasks
- Fluency in multiple languages encouraged (Spanish highly desired)
- Previous cashier and/or stocking experience preferred
- Ability to drive manual transmission vehicle (preferred)
