Job Summary
Seasonal Merchandiser to execute merchandising directives inside big-box retailers (e.g., Home Depot and Lowe's), stock and present Scotts brands, provide product knowledge to customers and store personnel, identify opportunities for solution selling and incremental space, relay inventory opportunities to the Sales team, and support the Sales Manager and store staff. Responsibilities include merchandising products inside and outside stores, maintaining presentable product displays, and collaborating with a team or working independently to complete tasks; requires flexibility to work holidays/weekends and includes driving responsibilities with a valid license.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in retail, merchandising and/or stocking preferred
- Problem solving and service oriented attitude
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends
- Ability to operate company provided technology
- Current, valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to routinely walk, stand, climb an 8-12 foot ladder, lift up to 45 lbs and be exposed to weather elements
- Proficiency in written and spoken English is required
