Job Summary
Merchandiser position servicing Freemont and Sandusky areas for Borden Dairy. Responsibilities include stocking, rotating, fronting and rearranging product per plan-o-gram; ensuring displays are professional with proper signage and favorable shelf placement; setting up displays, reporting issues/opportunities, negotiating for additional shelf/promotional space; conducting store surveys and market analyses to assess customer response; supporting team goals and performing additional duties as required. Requires high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license with insurance, 3+ years merchandising experience, strong verbal/written communication, attention to detail, proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel, and ability to work weekends with flexible shifts; physical tasks include lifting up to 50 lbs and extensive driving.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
- Minimum of 3 years related merchandising experience in the field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and conscientious
- Ability to prioritize, self-motivate and manage time effectively
- Microsoft Office experience required
- Excel spreadsheet experience required
- Weekend and varying shifts availability
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform related physical tasks
- Extensive driving to service customer base
