Job Summary
Deliver, fill, merchandise, and rotate beverage products at retail accounts while maintaining package integrity and quality standards. Stock end caps, racks, and displays; transport goods using U Boats, hand trucks, and pallet jacks; and display promotional signage. Foster positive relationships with customers and personnel through superior service and improve retail-level customer connections. Assist with wine events, tastings, and seminars after regular hours. Maintain neat back-room stock and assume full accountability for assigned equipment. Travel daily via personal vehicle along a specified route, pushing and pulling heavy loads over an eight-to-twelve-hour shift.
Required Qualifications
- Monday – Friday schedule
- Flexibility with start time
- High travel amount
- Lifting and loading from 20-45 pounds per case repeatedly over 8-12 hour work period
- Pushing and pulling over 800 pounds
- Bending, reaching and squatting while merchandising and moving products
- Exercise safe practices and work environment
- Follow a specified route in personal vehicle on a daily basis
- Service accounts during designated times established by management
- Regular, reliable, predictable attendance
- High communication skills
- Ability to communicate respectfully to address store issues to management
- Self motivation to operate under minimal supervision
- Willingness to work until the entire job is done, including in adverse weather conditions, overtime, weekends and holidays as business dictates
- Good math skills
- Capability of calculating margin/mark-up percentages
- Willingness to pass the background check, drug test and physical capabilities test
- Valid and clean NC License and Insurance
- Ability to adhere to all Federal and State regulations governing the sale and distribution of Alcoholic beverages in North Carolina
