Job Summary
Merchandise Supervisor role overseeing receiving, merchandising standards, and supervision of Associates to ensure efficient processing and a positive customer experience. Responsibilities include orchestrating truck deliveries, training and mentoring staff on merchandising/processing principles, ensuring merchandise is properly tagged and stocked, coordinating with the Coordinator on Duty for flow of goods to the sales floor, monitoring team productivity, organizing back stock, upholding signage and safety standards, and contributing to shrink reduction goals. Requires strong communication, organizational skills, leadership, and the ability to adapt to changing directions while maintaining store-wide operations and customer service excellence.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year retail and 6 months of leadership experience
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
- Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Capable of multi-tasking
- Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors
- Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation
