Job Summary
As a Merchandise Processor at Goodwill Central Texas, you’ll play a vital behind-the-scenes role preparing donated merchandise for the sales floor. You will sort, hang, price, and prep items, identify boutique, brand-name, and vintage pieces, meet daily processing goals, transport merchandise to the sales floor and stock by category, assist with donation intake, and cross-train in other store areas to support where help is needed. You’ll work in a fast-paced, physical environment, require clear English communication, and contribute to an inclusive team focused on making a meaningful impact through community support services. A 60-day raise is offered, along with health coverage, paid time off, parental leave, and opportunities for training and advancement.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ months of prior work, retail, or volunteer experience is a plus
- Ability to communicate clearly and follow directions in English
- Willingness to work weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for long periods
