Job Summary
Supports the Senior Merchant in executing merchandising strategy and acts as the Merchant's primary support for setting up and maintaining assortments. Manages all product information for the assigned merchandising category, analyzes merchandising metrics (class productivity, product trending, inventory status, margin rate), and provides recommendations for optimization. Partners with cross-functional groups to analyze components of the business where problems or trends exist, identifies, quantifies, and communicates assortment opportunities, and supports negotiations and product testing. The role involves collaboration with suppliers to onboard new products, relays product information to the field, and contributes to seasonal transition targets and strategies. Minimum education is a bachelor’s degree, with travel typically less than 10% and location at Store Support Center, Atlanta, USA.
